Biography

I was born on August 21, 2003 in Chicago, Illinois. A few years later, our family made the move to Hartland, Wisconsin. I have a younger sister, a younger brother, and a dog named Lucy. When I am not pursuing my love for gymnastics, I spend a lot of time outdoors or hanging out with family and friends. A few other activities that I enjoy doing are skiing, softball, cooking and baking, house decorating, and swimming.

I am 17 years old and a junior attending Lake Country Lutheran High School in Hartland, WI. I will graduate a year from now in the 2022. I maintain a 4.0 GPA and graduated 8th grade with honors. I am currently in the National Honors Society at my school, and an active member at the church I attend. I recently went on a mission trip to Nashville, Tennessee a few years ago. I enjoy helping others and seeing the impact I can make on other people's lives.

At a young age, I had loads of energy, so my parents enrolled me in a few recreational gymnastics classes. At about 9 years old, I decided to join the Xcel program. In 2013, I was put in Xcel Silver for my first year of competitive gymnastics. I progressed quickly and was able to skip the next level of Xcel, which was Xcel Gold, and go right to Xcel Platinum! My Xcel Platinum season was successful, placing 1st AA at the 2014 Wisconsin State Meet. In 2015, I moved up to the newly added level of Xcel Diamond. I continued to do well and competed Xcel Diamond for three years. In 2017, my last year of Xcel Diamond, I won State and placed second at Regionals.

There were no other Xcel levels to move up to, and I wanted more of a challenge and more practice time. So, in 2017 I joined the Junior Olympic program. By the end of the summer, I was set to compete level 9. But first, I had to compete a meet of level 7 and 8 in order to do so. Once I had tested out of both levels, I was ready to compete as a level 9 for the rest of the 2018 season! I had an accomplished first season competing in the JO program as a level 9 Salto gymnast. I got 1st in the all around at the 2018 Level 9 State and Regionals, and also placed 6th AA at Westerns. In 2019, I completed my first season of Level 10, qualifying to JO Nationals. My second season of Level 10 was going very well, scoring in the mid 36s all year. Sadly it was cut short due to Covid-19. But, I was able to get back in the gym, work hard, and currently am competing my 3rd year of Level 10. This has been my best season yet, scoring a few meets 38.0 and above, with personal bests on every event. I was the WI State 2021 AA, Bars, Beam, and Floor Champ and placed 2nd AA at regionals, making JO Nationals for the second time.

I am currently competing as a third year level 10 for the 2021 competition season. I train 22.5 hours a week at Salto Gymnastics Center in Waukesha, WI under the coaches Vitali Rudnitski, Brittany Solberg, Kristen Kremer, and Juliet Holden. My long term goal is to obtain a Division I gymnastics college scholarship.
