Summer of 2018

Welcome to the official website of Claire Stippich. I am training and learning new skills to be a level 10 gymnast for the 2019 season at Salto Gymnastics in Waukesha, WI. All of the content on this website is new, so be sure to check back every once in a while because my website will be updated with news, results, and videos.

September 20, 2018

I was doing a dismount on beam, and broke my big toe. I have to get surgery on it and will not be able to get back to full health for three months! I will continue to train bars and do anything I am capable of.  Sadly, I will most likley not be able to compete in the first couple of meets.

December 19, 2018

I got cleared! After three long months I can finally get back to training all four events. During the time I was injured though, I got my blind full on bars (with a spot), started training stalders, and worked on building my muscles back up.

January 14, 2019

NEW SKILL ALERT!! I caught my blind jaeger in between bars for the first time! Which is great because I can finally start putting full routines together in order to compete bars at Classic in MN, 3 weeks from now.

February 10, 2019

This weekend,  I competed at the WOGA Classic in Texas. It was my first meet as a level 10 to compete all four events. I placed 5th on vault with a 9.050 and qualified for state!

March 2, 2019

The Salto National Invitational 2019 went very well! I had a "no fall" meet, and placed 3rd on bars, floor, and all around. On beam and vault I place 4th. Overall, a good meet!

March 9, 2019

This weekend was the Under the Sea meet, our last meet before state. I placed 1st on beam and 2nd all around! Now that the normal season is over, I will begin to prepare for state, which is in two weeks.

March 23, 2019

The 2019 WI State Championships were good! I qualified for regionals, placed 2nd all around, and 3rd on vault. I will begin cleaning up my skills and preparing myself for Region 4 regionals in Iowa!

April 12, 2019

My first level 10 Regionals were a success! I placed 3rd on beam with a 9.150, and 6th in the AA. That means, next stop... NATIONALS!!!!

May 18, 2019

Unfortunately, due to an injury on training day (I landed very short on a vault), I sprained both of my ankles and was only able to compete bars and beam. I am hoping to make a quick recovery, train some new skills, and come back stronger next season!!

Summer of 2019

This summer was very productive. Although, coming back from two sprained ankles, I was still able to upgrade my skills on all events! I got a yurchenko full on vault, a double layout on bars, new flight and acro on beam, and a 1 1/2 layout on floor.

November 8-10, 2019

The Region 4 College Showcase and Training Camp was this past weekend. I had a really great time getting to showcase my skills and work with the judges and college coaches on improving them! I also enjoyed getting to use new equipment to work move-up skills on, such as the rod floor where I worked double layouts.

January 17, 2020

The first meet of the season, Coaches Spectacular in Cincinnati, went very well. I placed first all around and on floor! I also took second on beam and bars and had a lot of fun showcasing my new skills on those events at a meet. Our level 10 team took home first place as well. Great start to the season!

February 2, 2020

Classic Spectacular was a very competitive meet, but was great overall. Our team had a "no fall" meet, meaning we earned a pizza party! It was also my first time competing a full on vault!

February 14, 2020

This Valentine's Day was spent well in Virginia Beach for the Excalibur Classic. I placed first on bars, and landed my full on vault! Overall, a fun meet!

February 28, 2020

This Friday night, was our own meet, the Salto National Invitational. I placed first on bars with a 9.55, and second on beam with a 9.0. The highlights for me were sticking both my bars and beam dismounts, which i have been working on in practice. I also tied for first all around (36.7) with one of my teammates!!

March 7-8, 2020

The 2020 Northern Lights Meet was definitely one to remember. It was the first meet that I've ever been to with event finals, and I qualified to compete in three of them the next day (Vault, Bars, and Floor)! On bars, I set my personal best score, a 9.7, placing second.

March 12, 2020

Sadly, due to the coronavirus, as of right now, there is no state. But, there possibly could still be a regionals and nationals! So with a lot of hope, we are still practicing our routines and working hard in the gym.

March 20, 2020

Because of COVID-19, a stay-at-home order was put in place in Wisconsin until May and the gym is closed. It is super sad that we won't be having any post season this year, but I will continue to keep up with my strength and base skills at home.

May 24, 2020

The stay-at-home order is finally lifted! Although I enjoyed using the time this past 2 months to grow closer as a family and for doing things I usually wouldn't have the time for, such as cooking or painting, I am so happy to be back in the gym. We are starting out with base skills and getting our old skills back, but hopefully we will be working upgrades soon!

Summer of 2020

I am very grateful that we were able to still train all summer, with everything that has been going on. I have been working hard in the gym and have been trying some new skills, such as a double full on vault, a piked jaeger on bars, a front tuck on beam, and a full in on floor!

January 9, 2021

Today was our first meet of the season, and, with limited training this past year, it went better than expected. I got my personal best bar score of a 9.825 and made all of my routines scoring a 37.725 AA!

January 18, 2021

This weekend was the Chow's Meet and there were some rough patches, but I am in the gym now working hard to improve and clean up my skills for our next meet.

February 13, 2021

The Wisconsin Dells Meet was definitely one for the books! I scored my first AA in the 38s (a 38.00 even) which is really exciting. It was also the first meet that I competed my full-in on floor at, scoring a 9.55 on floor. I also fixed the technique on my yurchenko fulls!

February 21, 2021

Yesterday was the Twisted Moose Meet, hosted by TCT, and I just want to say that I am so grateful that we were able to travel out of state for a meet. The meet itself was good scoring my personal best 9.55 on beam.

March 6, 2021

Today was the meet that our own gym hosts and a highlight of the night was that our team took first! It was a super fun meet since our friends and family came to watch because it was so close to home :)

March 27, 2021

STATE 2021!!! On cloud 9!!! This was the best meet ever! Our team put our best effort out on the floor and took home the blue banner. I also won the all around with my best all around score ever of a 38.425. I ended up taking first on bars, beam, and floor and second on vault as well!

April 16, 2021

This weekend was regionals and I'm happy to say that I qualified to Nationals! i can't wait to represent region 4 and compete with new people. At regionals, I scored a 38.275, taking the second place spot. I also placed second on bars, beam, and floor (personal best 9.7), and fourth on vault. Next stop Daytona, FL!!

May 18, 2021

Season is done now, and I'm happy to say I went out with a bang! Nationals was such a fun meet, especially since it was in Florida! I started off a bit shaky on beam, but did pretty well overall, placing 4th on bars and 14th aa in the nation. Our region 4 team also got 3rd place which was pretty cool. Can't wait for next season!

July 16, 2021

I'm so excited to announce that I've verbally committed to the University of Kentucky on an athletic scholarship! So much thanks to everyone for making this dream come true. I truly cannot wait to be a wildcat next year!!!

Summer of 2021

This summer training was pretty productive, working a new skill on every event. I cleaned up my yurchenko full, which I will compete again this year, but I did work 1 1/2s this summer that I will hopefully be able to compete when I get to college! On bars I worked on shaposhes and beam I worked double back dismounts. On floor I upgraded to a piked full-in which I am looking forward to competing this season.
